Job Description
Home Care, Inc. is seeking a Community Liaison . This position will represent Home Care, Inc. and help bring in additional business for the company. Community Liaison's role will include working with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other providers in the senior care industry. They will need to identify, develop, and maintain referral sources. They will also need to attend events in the community, increasing community awareness of Home Care, Inc. mission and values.The ideal candidate has a proven track record of generating new business in the home care industry and has established relationships that can start generating new business immediately.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build a network and pipeline of prospective referral sources and partnerships for Home Care, Inc.
- Perform prospect visits to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities to educate and inform on Home Care, Inc. services.
- Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships for Home Care, Inc.
- Prepare presentations using Home Care, Inc. marketing materials.
- Represent Home Care, Inc. at industry and identify new opportunities for Home Care, Inc.
- Talk with prospects and families about their needs and discuss options that Home Care, Inc. offers.
- Field referral calls and discuss opportunities that are brought to Home Care, Inc.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- 3+ years Sales and/or Marketing experience
- Intuitive, good listener, strong communicator, solution oriented, driven
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interested in learning, with an eye toward personal improvement
- Detailed-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust both with company staff as well as with referral sources and prospective clients
- Process-oriented, results-driven, and able to learn and utilize our Internet-based client management software
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive with minimal direct supervision
- Senior Care Industry experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or healthcare related field is preferred
